Nigel Boswell
NIGEL BOSWELL - Bass & Keyboards
Founding member of Blemish UK.
Nigel was compelled to play bass guitar after watching Mick Karn perform at a Japan concert. He began his musical journey at the age of fifteen and played in bands for many years. Later, he worked as a session musician across Europe and the USA, crafting his apprenticeship as an accomplished musician. Rarely feeling fulfilled playing other people's music, Nigel needed to meet his own musical creativity, but struggled finding the right musicians to work with. That is until he teamed up with John and Simon and formed "Blemish UK". His natural song writing ability was able to flourish and this was recognized by Kerrang Radio Station in the UK and the UK Song writing Guild. Various publishing companies have shown interest in adding his compositions to their catalogues. Nigel has spent three great years crafting his song writing under the wings of Don Arden in LA. Nigel is now aiming with Blemish UK to bring their music to the masses.(The sky is the limit when your heart is in it).

Simon Ryland
SIMON RYLAND -Drums & Vocals
Simon first picked up a pair of drumsticks at age two, playing along to his father's records on pots and pans, laid out like a drum kit and his favorite record being an album by Blind Faith. The drummer being Ginger Baker, who was and is still one of Simon's biggest influences; Simon copied every note he played on the album, even the solos. At fourteen, Simon joined his first gigging band, who's average age was fifteen, playing rock -n- roll covers in pubs and social clubs around their local town. Three years later he joined his first original band who got to the finals of the "Central Band Of The Year" contest. The band got to play live on Central News and also make a record. But like most young bands, their musical differences split them up. Soon Simon got a call from an old school friend, whom he used to jam with at the local church asking him to join their band. They were another original band playing indie style music and they were able to play the: London Scene, the Mean Fiddler, the Rock Garden and the Power House Islington, when they were spotted by WEA Records and London Records. It was EG Records that pulled them in to talk business. Having produced five tracks, the band thought they were on their way, but the internal politics within EG Records proved the downfall of the opportunity. Simon's talents can now be heard through the joint efforts of: BLEMISH UK.
