Marko Jankovic, was born 1980 in Switzerland, shortly after his parents emigrated from Yugoslavia. Marko showed an interest in music and dancing at an early age and eventually he took classical piano lessons. That all changed on his 10th birthday, when Marko's parents gave him a video of a Woodstock performance of the late Jimi Hendrix. Marko felt, that after watching that video, he wanted to be on stage performing and playing guitar. Marko then began guitar lesson and decided to take the big step and come to the United States. He attended Berklee College Of Music in Boston, MA and graduated in 2001 and dual-majored in Songwriting and Music Production/Engineering. Marko moved to Los Angeles, California where he has played in several bands and performed all over the state (Including the House Of Blues) and turned solo in 2005. Marko writes and produces his own songs and has produced other talented artists in the area. His musical influences include: U2, Dashboard Confessional, Pink Floyd and other life inspirational vibes.
