Rob EC, originally from Connecticut, began studying piano and writing songs at the age of ten. He later attended SUNY Purchase College in New York and was enrolled in their acclaimed music studio composition program. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in that field he relocated to Los Angeles in 1997 and formed a mobile deejay company called "Uptown Sounds" and spun music at various events: weddings, birthdays, and private parties. While not content with just deejaying, he started working on songs for his first two albums with supremely talented producer: Phillie G. When the first two albums were completed, he contacted some of Europe's talented crop of up and coming producers and deejays to do club remixes for the third release "The Remixes". In September 2006 all three albums were made available on i-tunes, cdbaby.com and many other online stores. Rob has been busy writing and creating album releases and one ballad "Never Leave You Again", hit #6 on the American Idol.com underground pop chart. The second album, Deliverance, is electro-pop and euro-dance at its best. The third album, "The Remixes", includes twelve great dance versions of Rob E C songs from his first two albums. These albums are a must for club deejays and people who love euro-house -progressive dance club music. Rob EC is currently in the studio working with Phillie G on his next original album!
