Introducing: Supersofar
Click Above To Go to Their Web Site
From the land of mountains and salt flat deserts, comes Supersofar. A salt Lake based four piece group, who's refreshing sound and accessibility, trips you through melodic vocals and instrumental dynamics, ranging from as heavy as the sky falling, to atmospheric like wide open space and all points in between. Formed in 2002 by singer/songwriter Woods, Supersofar quickly became a noticeable name locally and regionally. With strong word-of-mouth, their first CD (Day Stealer) and impressive area gigs, the band won "Band Of the Year" and "Best Male Vocalist" honors from Salt lake City Weekly. With the October 2005 release of their current CD "SUM," they have garnered substantial airplay on two of Salt Lake's top rock stations, as well as regional radio features. Supersofar derives influence from: Life, love, Death, Friendships and every bit of music, that has ever hit their ears....good and bad. (The group consists of: W. James Woods, Bob Hanson, Derek Briggs and Mike Stipanov)

Supersofar's "live" shows are: joyous, intense and powerful, with undeniable chemistry. The band is indeed, hard to categorize and their songs are impossible to keep out of your head. The group believes in great melodies, passionate songs and the ability to constantly improve their musicality as individuals and as a collaborative group. No Rules! Supersofar calls it the truth!
