The Artist Development Package will last 24 months, and Black Mountain will use the artist's original musical compositions for the sole purpose of marketing and promotion, through licensing, publishing and distribution throughout the USA, Canada and Europe. Beta Records is covering 100% of all eCommerce, Recording/Video marketing and promotion costs, through but not limited to:
Securing major rotation play with: College-Commercial-Satellite Radio Airplay in the USA,Canada and in Europe
Securing paid gigs, performances and appearances throughout the USA (College & University Campus events also considered) Showcases and special events and activities.
Promotions: (includes but not limited to): Media-Press-Newspaper-Magazine-Internet, Press Kits

Recording and mixing of 3 songs- not to exceed 3 full days (Based upon the artists development and industry potential)

What Can A Song Contest Do For Me?
Every artist knows how hard it is to get your music heard by A&R executives, music supervisors, booking agents, and managers. With so many artists out there trying to get ahead and so few true opportunities to further your career, getting discovered is extremely hard.
Song contests do a great job of leveling the playing field by making sure that every entrant gets considered equally no matter how great the recordings sounds, who produced it, what she' wearing or who he knows. Whether you're a published professional songwriter, just starting out or anything in between, there are a ton of contests out there that offer the opportunity "to be heard" without bias.
Song contests work hard for their reputation within the industry so that if you're a winner, finalist, runner up or even receive an honorable mention, the prestige of getting recognized by a panel of respected music professionals (not just one) can open many doors. In fact, many artists have gone on to work with song contest judges after entering a contest!
Contest Rules And Regulations
By submitting your Musical Compositions to Black Mountain Productions Inc. and BETA Records, LLC, you expressly warrant and represent the following to Black Mountain Productions Inc. and BETA Records, LLC and acknowledge that Black Mountain Productions Inc. and BETA Records, LLC, is relying upon such warranties and representations:
(1) That all factual assertions you have made and will make to us are true and complete; that you have reached the age of maturity and are otherwise competent to enter into this contest and any contracts in your jurisdiction; and that in any event you are at least 18 years of age. And I understand that all contest song submission fees are non-refundable! A portion of the fees collected will be donated to a music-oriented charity.
(2) That you have obtained and hold all rights, approvals, consents, licenses, and/or permissions, in proper legal form, necessary to submit musical compositions / press kits on the terms provided herein and to grant Black Mountain Productions Inc. and BETA Records, LLC, the nonexclusive licenses set forth herein.
(3) The prize winner will receive a 24 month Pre-Marketing Agreement and a 24 month Mechanical License and Mastering Agreement for the sole purpose of creating a major foundation in the music industry. Many areas of activities will be established to create the necessary promotion and marketing of your talents within the industry itself (as deemed necessary by Black Mountain Productions Inc. and BETA Records, LLC). Some of these areas may include (but, are not limited to): satellite, commercial and college radio airplay, the creation and sale of ringtones, wallpapers, CD singles, merchandising, creation of press kits and CD duplication packages, internet and website inclusion and marketing, creation of performances and gigs across the USA, and additional marketing assistance through the affiliations and partners currently with Black Mountain Productions Inc., located in Canada and the UK, providing the current style and formats of the musical composition / artist fall within those current format and jurisdiction market needs and requirements. Should it be felt by the sole discretion of Black Mountain Productions Inc. and BETA Records, LLC, that the artist is ready for the next step, Black Mountain Productions Inc., will consider establishing/offering a standard full Management & Recording Contract with the artist and will then proceed with new negotiated terms and conditions to the benefit of all involved. The prize winner will also receive a 3 track recording deal at BETA Records studio in Hollywood, California, 1 professionally produced music video, a "making of" video, and a variety of online marketing & promotions.
(4) It is further understood, that Black Mountain Productions Inc. and BETA Records, LLC, it's representatives, agents and/or employees, make no guarantee of your musical career success, by the acceptance of the rules of this contest, the submission of your musical compositions for review and the signing/participation with the Pre-Marketing Agreement or the Mechanical And Mastering License Agreement and the Recording And Digital Marketing Package. Black Mountain Productions Inc. and BETA Records, LLC, will however, guarantee to provide to you all of the services they currently have available for all of your potential success opportunities.
(5) That no other rights, approvals, consents, licenses and/or permissions are required from any other person or entity to submit your musical compositions on the terms provided herein or to grant Black Mountain Productions Inc. and BETA Records, LLC, the nonexclusive licenses set forth herein.
(6) That your musical compositions are original; that your musical compositions were either created solely by you or, by written assignment, you have acquired all worldwide intellectual property rights in and to your musical compositions; that if your musical compositions contain any "samples" or excerpts from copyrightable work the rights to which are owned in whole or in part by any person or entity other than you, that you have obtained and hold all rights, approvals, consents, licenses and/or permissions, in proper legal form, necessary to use and include such work in your musical compositions; and that your musical compositions, do not otherwise infringe on the intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
(7) That you give Black Mountain Productions Inc. and BETA Records, LLC, your full consent to the use of your name, portraits or photographs, websites, and other materials & sources for the purposes of trade in connection with the contest.
(8) You agree to sign & deliver to Black Mountain Productions Inc. and BETA Records, LLC any additional documents that Black Mountain Productions Inc. and BETA Records, LLC may request to confirm Black Mountain Productions Inc's and BETA Records, LLC rights and your warranties & representations under this agreement.
(9) You acknowledge that Black Mountain Productions Inc. and BETA Records, LLC and is relying upon the representations, warranties, and covenants you have made herein. You agree to and hereby do indemnify Black Mountain Productions Inc. and BETA Records, LLC, its licensees, assigns, and customers against, and hold them harmless from, any loss, expense (including reasonable attorney fees and expenses), or damage occasioned by any claim, demand, suit, recovery, or settlement arising out of any breach or alleged breach of any of the representations, warranties, or covenants made herein or arising out of any failure by you to fulfill any of the representations, warranties, or covenants you have made herein.
(10) All warranties & representations made by you herein are made for the benefit of Black Mountain Productions Inc. and BETA Records, LLC and its sub-licensees and may be enforced separately by Black Mountain Productions Inc. and BETA Records, LLC and/or by any contractually designated sub-licensee of Black Mountain Productions Inc. and BETA Records, LLC. This agreement shall remain in full binding effect regardless of any activities by either party.
