1. Creating An Account
To get started with the Pulse Download Store you first have to create an account using our central 'Pulse Passport'. This is a simple operation and only requires you to fill in your name, email address, date of birth and your contact details. You must also create a password for yourself. This is the NEW central login site for all of the Pulse sites - it is called the Pulse Global Passport.

To sign in, you will need to enter your email address and password. To return to the Download Store, you must click on the 'Continue Shopping' button.

Here you can view your account to determine the number of credits you have, as well as being able to buy more in order to top up your account. You can securely purchase credits via PayPal and upon completion, this will credit your account ready for you to start shopping. If you have a Pulse Promotional Voucher, you can enter the voucher number into the voucher field on the 'My Credits' page. Please note that all purchases are non-refundable, due to the digital delivery mechanisms being used.


This screen shows the files that you have yet to complete downloading. Make sure you right-click and select "Save Target As" otherwise your file may not be saved to your hard disk. Download times may vary depending on your connection speed and internet traffic.

If you do not see a purchase here that you have made, and have yet to download then please contact customer services.

The 'My History' page is a summary of the major actions your user account has performed. Please note that actions here are simply a summary, and do not include minor information such as viewing a page.

2. Buying Music In The Store
You can search for artists in the store by name or genre. Click on each artist to bring up their profile and tracks available for download

You can preview each track available for download by clicking the icon next to the track title. This will launch Media Player and will stream the sample. If you like the track, click on the button and this will add the track to your shopping basket (top right). If you want to remove a track from your shopping basket, click the remove button in the basket window (top right). When you have finished shopping, click on 'View Basket' to go to the next stage.
At the top right of the download store, you can see what is 'Now Playing' on Pulse Rated radio...

Clicking the 'BUY THIS TRACK' button on the Pulse Player will take you directly to the artist being played right now on Pulse, and the 'LAUNCH RADIO' button will launch the Pulse Player so you can hear the best new music and radio shows as you shop. Real interactive stuff!!!

3. Completing Your Purchases

'Your Shopping Basket' shows the tracks you have selected to purchase. You may still remove tracks from your basket at this stage. Clicking 'Clear Basket' will remove all of the items or you can remove them individually by clicking the button next to each track. If you are happy with your choices, and providing you have enough 'credit' to cover the items in your cart, you can click 'Complete Purchase' and move to the next stage.... If you do not have enough credits, you can top them up or buy more by clicking the 'Buy Credits' button. This will take you to the 'My Credits' page in 'Pulse Passport'

4. Downloading Your Tracks
Once you have finished purchasing your tracks and have arrived at the 'Checkout' page, you must click on the 'Download File' icon to take you to the Downloads area in Pulse Passport. Here you will find all of your pending downloads.

Downloads may take a long time, depending on your connection speed and internet traffic. Once the files are downloaded, you will be able to play them on your computer and they will appear in your 'Previous Downloads' window on the Download page.
The music files are all MP3 format, so you will be able to transfer them onto your digital music player, all major brands including iPods, and listen to them wherever and whenever you want.
