In June 2006, Mikey Sabetalla, Eric and Brian Shaw, joined together as members from various bands in the Southern California area, to form: The Spencer Outfit--an energetic Pasadena, California based rock band! Their first full length record "00:03" (3 Seconds To Go) combines hard rock and metaphoric lyrics, with a unique style of pop formulation; creating an overall powerful musical performance. "I can't quite put my finger on exactly who your band sounds like," is the phrase TSO is slowly getting used to these days. Over the past 4 years, TSO has had experiences ranging from: playing and average of 220 shows/events per year and working with bands such as: Save Ferris, Unwritten Law, Something Corporate, Face To Face, New Found Glory, Strung Out, Midtown and The Warped Tour.
Their brand new record: "0:03," was signed to Nutcase Entertainment in Japan, almost overnight. Having been involved with a music festival in July 2006 and also with a collaboration for an MTV Japan music video, TSO is no stranger to the D.I.Y. ethic of hard work and dedication to music. THE SPENCEROUTFIT has begun and seeing is believing.........!

Mikey Sabatella (Vocals/Guitar)
I am Mikey Sabatella and I sing for The Spencer Outfit. I'm 29 years old and have been involved in the music industry for the past 11 years. I started singing when I was 18 years old by mistake and have been involved with it ever since. When was the first time I realized I wanted to be a singer/frontman? The minute I saw Green Day in concert for the first time, Irealized how much I would love to connect to a live audience. After high school, I started college with the intention of jumping into graphic design and fine art, while going to school for my Associates of Arts degree. I practiced with the band, known as: The Reliables, as well as promoting and producing shows for 400 to 550 kids a week, at a Community Center in: La Canada, California, raising money for the center and bringing the community bands together. By myself with over 550 kids haha...a little bit of a security hazard right? Bands like The Ataris, New Found Glory, Rx Bandits, Story Of, The Year, Brightlife, Ozma, Midtown and Rufio, as well as tons of others, had all played my community center at one time or another. I established great relationships and made somewhat of a name for myself in the LA area. I did this for over 8 years. This is how I met Richard & Stefanie at Drive Thru Records and was hired to be their first Publicist and Foreign Distributer, working with bands like: New Found Glory, when they had first started in the business. After 2 years, I left to start touring with my band at the time, Limitpoint. We began to tour with other bands like: Save Ferris, Face To Face, Unwritten Law, Something Corporate, The Lonely Kings and many others. We would play over 220 shows a year, touring around the nation almost 18 times, from NYC to Florida! Limitpoint had a brief stint on MTV2 for the Dew Circuit Breakout (Amp Energy Drinks), played the Warped Tour 2002 and worked hard for over 4 years on the road. The band was signed to Nutcase Entertainment in Japan and decided to start with a fresh listen for the fan's with our new record: "00:03 Seconds To Go", (changing the name) starting our first tour in Japan and making a name for The Spencer Outfit. I have continued to work in the Arts and now helped produce & book some bands and run a graphic design dept. at: www.cdrollout.com as well as starting my own graphic company: www.ilovemikeydesigns.com. I thrive on connecting with our audiences, traveling, playing and writing music and helping out anyone who asks!
Eric Ehlers (Drums/Bvox)
My name is Eric Von Ehlers, I have been playing drums now for eleven years. I am 22 years old and live in Long Beach, California. Music has always been a large part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've been studying and learninig from a world of great musicians, as well as from a few personal teachers along the way. Throughout High School, I enrolled in every musical incorporated class that was allowed on my schedule. I was the "Head Drummer" in my senior year, in the Drum Corps and eventually became "First Chair" in the Jazz Band, my sophomore year. I always took every opportunity to "jam" with classmates and friends of mine, when we weren't in class. It was a learning experience. And I wouldn't trade those days for the world. In my last semester of high school, I was approached with a great opportunity to go on tour and graduate early. I jumped on that opportunity immediately. For 4 years now, I have traveled all over the world, performing and doing what I love to do the most. I have recently found myself, while home from touring, in the studio doing session work for a little extra money on the side. (As well as filling in for bands, who might have lost a drummer or are in the middle of a line-up issue) The drums come very natural to me. Almost anything that I hear I can duplicate. I love what I do, and do what I love, MUSIC!
Brian Shaw (Bass/Bvox)
My name is Brian Shaw. Music has been the number one thing in my life, that has been a constant other then family. Everything else comes and goes... relationships, friends, money, the good times and the bad times and the scenes they all are connected with, all rotate some how. I've been playing bass guitar for over 10 years and I can still remember the first time I heard Matt Freeman's bass notes, moving throughout an operation ivy song. It inspired me to want to learn. My cousin Mikey Sabatella and I decided to get together and form a band and have been dedicated to each other ever since. Through that connection, we've written many songs, many albums and learned how to record music. Even though we created all this music; playing the music live, for a crowd, is what I love to do the most! Luckily enough, we've been able to tour the country many times, play overseas, and we've been able to inspire others to want play music as well. If my house were on fire and I could only fill my hands, it would be my bass guitar and my computer library of music... oh and headphones attached to my head!
